SAToolz for DIRECTV App Reviews

Some reviews have me hope that this would work. NOPE. I can find the satellites but theyre completely in the wrong position. I can shake my phone a certain way and get them to show up close to the location but how can I trust this for anywhere other than my house. I was in the middle of my yard with nothing around me. My iPhone compass app was spot on (which is what this app claims to use). Please come out with an update to fix this or refund everyones money.

Im very happy with the performance of this app. I use it when Im camping and when there are obstructions like trees I can find a place to place my dish and get a reference Point to help aim the dish. Works great. I have a iPhone 6s+.

No need for a compass. Great when other roof lines or trees might be in the way. Thanks!

Very good app saves lots of time

outstanding app for setting up a Dish away from your RV when you have a lot of trees. We carry a Directv dish for this purpose, this along with and adj. tripod, and is a 15 min. setup.

Very handy app to show customers a no-line. I install direct TV for a living and use every day. Its not 100% but it gives you a good idea. I would recommend this to anyone in this line of work.

Gives a customer a good idea of just why the heck you cant put the dish on "that" corner of the house

I am a service tech and a trainer with Directsat. I have compared this app to the reading of my inclinometer and it was off by 18 degrees thats a BIG oopsie in my business. This app is supposed to do one thing and one thing only and it has failed to do so. Get it off the app store before new employees with directv butcher a bunch of roofs and give our customers poor service

Does not work and is about 18 degrees off so do not trust it at all sorry it was a waist of money

If you are a satellite installer-DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!! It is off by 18+ degrees depending on where you are in the nation! Waste of money! We have new installers canceling the job because if this app!! Fix it or remove from the app store!! The dish network and wildblue apps you make are off as well!!!!

Sorry I wasted my money. It combines three says in one. Not very intuitive. There is another app that was free and gives much more info.

It doesnt tell you until you download it that it good for aligning the dish.

Horrible. Says it will tell you if there is an obstacle. I am INSIDE my home and the display shows clear line of sight!! Waste of money!!!

This is a good app I use it all the time not sure what the other two revie are talking about, I recommend it to any one special to a technician

Does exactly what it says. Perfect for this full time RVer to determine if I can get a signal. Easily worth the money for making important information available when and where I need it.

I got this app one day when I left my inclinometer at home, depending what angle u hold ur phone at, u have los or not, is very undependable

Im disappointed. The accuracy is so bad. It is easily 45° off, enough to render it pretty much useless for finding a satellite. This will not help me place my dish or park my RV.

I just purchased this app and when pointing the camera to the southeast I did not get any dots representing satellites. Unless I am doing something wrong I dont see a benefit to this app. Save your money.
