SAToolz for DIRECTV App Anmeldelser

Using iOS 15.4 on iPhone 8. App displays splash screen for about 10 seconds, then closes. Tried deleting and reinstalling twice.

I love sat toolz for DIRECTV. However, it will not work on my new 7th Generation iPad. Error message is THIS APP REQUIRES SPECIFIC FEATURES NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS DEVICE. I would have contacted support, but link does not work.

I love this app for my motor home I call 1800-906-1440 for a satellites dish

Don’t waste your money. Horrible app did not help me locate anything

We live full time in an RV. When pulling in to a new site, moving the RV a few feet in any direction can make the difference between setting a signal or not because of trees or other satellite blockers. You just need to know generally where South is to start.

If it was a dollar app I’d say it’s ok My iPhone compass is more accurate I feel ripped off paying 5 dollars

This app do nothing but to take a picture of the sky. This is an scam.

I am using this app a lot as I am on an 8 month RV trip and moving around a lot. I have used other, similar apps that are no longer supported in the new iOS so I switched to this app out of necessity. The only thing that keeps me from giving this app five stars is the lack of a guide arrow to help you locate the area of the sky where to look for the satellites. You have to know the compass directions of your location before you start such that you have a general idea where to look. As it is, I first open the compass app to find South and then open this app to search for the satellite locations. Yeah, it’s a minor thing but other apps I have used had a guide arrow and I found that useful.

Does not show satellites in sky. It’s just a camera.

The only thing this app does is look toward the southern sky (which you have to find without the app's assistance) and tell you if there is a clear line of sight to the satellite in the southern sky. I have eyes... I can do that myself.

I was informed of this app from a Direct TV installer. It works. the one review that gave it a bad review did not know how to use the app or was lookint in the wrong direction. Great app.

All this app does is take a photo with a circle on it. It DOES NOT show you the location of the satellites. This is the most fraudulent app I have ever downloaded in my years of using iPhones. Don't waste your time !

GOAT DirecTV Sat Finder

I'm very happy with the performance of this app. I use it when I'm camping and when there are obstructions like trees I can find a place to place my dish and get a reference Point to help aim the dish. Works great. I have a iPhone 6s+.

I bought the app. No satellites showed up. I was angry. Went to app Facebook page and saw there were issues with iPhone 6s that had been corrected with software update. Updated phone to 9.2.1 and satellites magically appeared. Couldn't be happier. This will take the guess work out of my job. Best 4.99 I've spent in App Store. Wish At&t would have paid for it though!

For some reason this app does not work for me, I cannot see the satellites on screen and that pretty much makes it worthless. DTV installer

After reading the negative reviews I was skeptical. However I figured for $4.99 I didn't have that much to lose. I purchased the app opened it and pointed to the sky. The Direct TV satellites immediately showed up. I like it.

This app works now after updating iOS to 9.2. Very helpful app to locate your satellites you need. It's nic because you can really use it to verify good line of sight. Thanks for making this app!

Now the background is dark and the sats are hard to find outside with the glare. Please bring back the actual SKY color background!!

I got ripped off. Bought it because I'm a AT&T tech that will be installing directv does not work at all. Complete waste of money. Don't buy

App does not work. On the beach, no clouds, no trees and no satellite!! Downloaded and reinstalled twice. No luck and really tired of crappie apps!

This app does not work on iOS9. It does not find any satellite when pointing directly where the satellite is according to both my inclomiter and other dish pointing apps

Tried to use this app. No satellites show up. No use if you don't show me where the satellites are

All I can see is blank sky and no satellites! I've tried several times in different locations!!

The icons and text are small . The text is white possible to see on cloudy day. Need larger text with offsetting background!

Bought this app and couldn't find signal. Kept jumping around, couldn't locate anything. Truly not worth the money. Greatly overpriced. Went back and downloaded Dish Align for free and it's more of a compass app and it worked perfect!

Satellites keep moving. No matter how far away from anything that may affect compass. Waste of money. I had better luck just using compass.

Says it is to be used only to see if you have a good line if sight for reception. Misrepresented saying it could help direct satelite.

Couldn't find signal. Bought a satellite finder and still nothing. Called and Direct TV and got nowhere. Bought this app and it showed me exactly where to point the satellite. Excellent App

Normally I won't purchase apps but this one is truly worth it. No more calling back and forth for signal strengths. Simple and quick! Awesome for camping!

Helps find the perfect opening in the trees when setting up my portable camping dish.

Finally something I won't lose during my line of sights! Already been through 2 inclinometers and now I won't lose this one!

The description is quite clear, this is not a disk alignment tool. But it is an awesome disk location tool. This app will help you easily identify the most likely location for the disk installation. Makes it very easy to visualize the location of the satellites up in the sky so you can see if you have a good line of sight past trees or other obstacles.

Awesome app to find your satellites on DirecTV. Updated regularly to calibrate.

No longer functions

There is a learning curve involved but it will show you where the satellite is and if there is anything blocking the line of sight between your dish and the satellite. Prior to purchasing this ap, we had located the satellite with another device but couldn't get it to connect for over three hours until I bought this ap and discovered trees were blocking every place we located our dish. We had 96% signal within 5 minutes of purchasing this ap. I wish I had bought it sooner.

I was desperate to find an app while trying to find out where a directv dish could go so I ignored the reviews that said this app was inaccurate. Boy were the reviews accurate. It is inaccurate to the point of being useless. The 5 star reviews from technicians must have been shill reviews. Shame on the developer for selling this. I want my money back now!

I'm a directv installer. Everyday I install & align dishes. I use this app daily to help me quickly locate satellites. With the camera function I can quickly decide if there is line of sight to the satellites or if the signal would be blocked by trees. Thank you for making my job easier.

I just purchased this app and when pointing the camera to the southeast I did not get any dots representing satellites. Unless I am doing something wrong I don't see a benefit to this app. Save your money.
